Aradia – Queen of the Witches

Aradia – Hand-embellished Print on Wood

Price range: $8.00 through $65.00

Description

“Aradia”

Our understanding of Aradia largely comes from Aradia, or the Gospel of the Witches, a book published in 1899 by folklorist Charles Godfrey Leland. Leland devoted much of his life to studying the myth and magic of marginalized people throughout Europe. His goal was to record and preserve it. Aradia comes from Italian folklore, and the story is that the goddess Diana sent her daughter Aradia down to earth to teach people the ways of Witchcraft – so that they may free themselves from their oppressors.

Available as a vinyl candle wrap sticker (7″ x 3″) or as a hand-embellished print on wood (14″ tall)
